We had the amazing fortune to visit Levon Helm Studios — the barn in Woodstock, New York, where Levon Helm of The Band held his Midnight Rambles and which lives on as a concert venue — for a Josh Ritter show.
And before making our pilgrimage to the barn, we paid our respects to Levon and Rick Danko at the town cemetery. (This was in 2023, so Garth Hudson was not yet across the street at the Woodstock Artists Cemetery. We’ll come back and say hello, Garth!)
